As some of you already know I am now driving a school bus for High and Middle School kids. This is a quite and experience and can be a different experience every day almost. lol I am lucky I have some good kids, and for some reason they really like me. I'm happy about that. But I do have to say, when I started this job, that is what I thought it would be-a job. But those kids kinda get under your skin a bit, and you kinda get attached to them.
I don't really want to be liking them that much, because they start asking you to do things like go to their chorus concert. Which one did. And I did. Jeri said I must. She said it was important to the kids. Okay! I went. So did Jeri. Where we sat there were 2 men and a woman sitting behind us. All of a sudden one man starts talking very loudly, very loudly, about his buddy putting a bottle between his legs and "pissing in the bottle". I think I might have mentioned this was at a Middle School event.
As he is talking, very loudly, about this Jeri kinda turns toward him and looks in his direction. And then we hear his buddy proclaim, "Some people better find their own business to mind." Seriously! LOL I was torn between beating some redneck ass and laughing so hard as to bust a gut.
The end result was we ignored their stupid selves. Maybe the woman said something to them because they did shut up. Jeri did look at me and say, "I'm not redneck enough to respond." Crazy stuff! LOL
